SISUMMA´s Programme on Critical Media Literacy and technical workshops kicks off in Spain this spring. The Euro-Arab Foundation for Higher Studies has organized several practical workshops on digital literacy and media activism aimed at minorities and young people who want to fight against discrimination and stereotyping of minorities in the media and social networks.
The programme includes technical workshops with basic tools for audiovisual creation and social transformation, so that participants can create their own content and disseminate counter-narratives against discrimination.
These workshops will take place in Granada from April to May 2017:
I- Minorities and Media activism: critical digital literacy workshops. Tools and strategies to create positive narratives from 24 to 27 of April.
II.- Audiovisual creation tools for media activism. Video workshop: recording and editing in May.
