Our partner in Estonia Peipsi Center for Transboundary Cooperation went to Alatskivi, by the Lake Peipsi in the eartern border of the country, on 21 November to work with teachers and students from Alatskivi School.

Peipsi CTC introduced the teachers to Global education, and they learned how to find materials and online resources.

Alatskivi School students from 8th grade spent the day learning about environmental migration and refugees.  During the workshop they discussed issues like environmental justice, environmental refugees; solidarity and (in)justice.

Migration and refugees is one of SISUMMA´s main 4 topics, and at this stage of the project different type of activities are being held across Europe to raise awareness about European citizenship, minorities and multicultural coexistance.
